Denis Bochatay

Denis holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Lausanne University (UNIL) and an MAS in Environment Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). He is a Swiss citizen.

Denis has ten years of experience in the sustainable development of sport. He worked for J. de Heer Consulting – Sustainable Sport Development from 2005 to 2010 and has worked for Quantis as an LCA Sustainability Consultant since 2011.  

Denis has participated in and managed sustainable projects for several sport federations and major sport events such as UEFA EURO 2016, Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, IAAF Athletissima, FEI Lausanne International Horse Show and the FIA Formula-E Championship. His sports-events-related projects include environmental footprints, sustainable strategy and action plans, reporting, communication solutions and IT tools.

Denis is also responsible for the development of Quantis’ activities in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. These include projects for public authorities and SMEs and media relations. Quantis helps organisations to move towards sustainability through the life-cycle approach.

Denis is actively participating in the development of sustainable events for the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme, including the CO2 calculator for motorcycles.
